Great Lakes Maritime Academy Alumni

The Great Lakes Maritime Academy Alumni Association is dedicated to the mission of service to the Academy by providing support to the staff and faculty, mentoring to the cadets, and fellowship to the graduates.

Established in 1976, the Great Lakes Maritime Academy Alumni Association is a Michigan non-profit corporation recognized by the United States Federal Government under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The purposes for which this organization was formed are as follows:  To increase and enhance the esprit de corps of the members of this organization; to engage in fund raising projects and receive donations or contributions and to direct these funds or materials exclusively to the Great Lakes Maritime Academy; and to engage in other such activities as the Board of Directors of the AlumniAssociation may deem to be in the interest of the Great Lakes Maritime Academy or this organization.
